Hello Filipino Thinkers!
It has been a while since I last created a blog. In all honesty, I have been busy lately with my start-ups (RCG : www.redcircleglobal.com and CPT : www.carpooltour.com).
This pre-christmas article of mine is not about my start ups or myself, I have noticed that there’s a growing clamor among Filipinos to jump into the crazy crypto world of trading. Why not, right?
I have learned about BTC, one year ago. I still remember when I asked a friend tungkol dito but I did not really pursue researching about BTC and Cryptocurrencies kasi for me, its a scam.
However, scam or not, sustainable or hindi, no one can deny that for this year alone BTC grew around 1,600%!
PS. Hindi siya scam. Pero still, #DYOR – Do Your Own Research
Okay, you can do your own research about it and I am no genius or expert in the crypto world however like the rest of the people who are now into crypto trading, I decided to compile the Top 4 things to learn before you enter the crypto world based on my individual opinion.
I am going to do the article in Tagalog-English. Be patient! This is important-er =P
So here it goes!
#DYOR – Do Your Own Research
Too many hypers and self-proclaimed experts. Trust me, lahat ng tao sa crypto land especially in the Philippines hindi kaya i-predict what’s next. Given someone can say na alam nila aakyat ang crypto to this level, I am sure sana nag bomba na sila 2011 pa lang, dba? Kung saan as per CNBC News Channel pag nag pasok ka raw ng USD 100,000.00 noon 2011 dapat USD 3.8B na sya ngayon.
Who among you will not do it kahit PHP 100,000.00 kung talagang expert ka sa bagay na ito? In the PH, madaming miners and early adapters (mga unang gumamit, naka intindi at sumugal sa crypto) yet walang expert na masasabi na kaya mag predict 100% accurately ng presyo at naging successful.
Kahit sa buong mundo, walang ganon. You cannot really 100% predict the market but there’s a trend backed by your research na pwede mong gamitin para kahit papano yung accuracy mo sa pag forecast mas malaki ang chance maging tama.
Make sure naiintindihan mo pinapasok mo at sustainable ito.
RIGHT VOLUME + GOOD OPPORTUNITY = MONEY
Keep in mind, may network fee ang pag gamit ng BTC and transfer nito. Baka mamaya ang ipasok mo PHP 1,000.00 baka mas malaki pa ang network fee or magaya ka sa i-post ko na picture sa ilalim, PHP 1,000.00 niya ang natira PHP 44.00 na lang.
Yes, Crypto world is really profitable to those who can spot a good opportunity + right volume of funds. It is easy to do a 100% in here and I have seen so many coins that did 300% or more pero syempre, at the end of the day, how much ba pinasok mo? Give na nag 300% up ka yet ang pinasok mo PHP 10,000.00 so, PHP 30,000.00 ang total money mo (PHP 10k capital + PHP 20k profit = PHP 30k total revenue).
Masaya kana ba doon? Depende yan sa tao, for some that’s okay already but for some big players, that’s nothing. Hindi sulit sa abala, so what’s my point? Make sure that when you spot a good opportunity, you are going to put the right volume that will satisfy your targets.
HAVE A GOAL + WAG TAMARIN MAG BASA
How much do you really need?
How much can you afford to lose?
What is your entry plan (normally, you buy on dip) and exit plan (i.e. 100% up or 1,000% HODL) ?
How much time can you spend in researching and reading the Whitepaper of each coins plus due diligence kung masaya ba and okay naman feedback ng earlier investors?
TOP 4 – OPEN YOUR FIRST CRYPTO WALLETS AND EXCHANGE PLATFORMS
Assuming you already did your own research, may funds kana rin and opportunity na nakita at goals. What’s next?
Open your own wallet. In the Philippines, the most popular talaga is Coins.PH but the problem there kasi yung network fee nila, sobrang taas talaga and a lot of people are complaining about it already especially the small timers. So, do we have an alternative? Yes, Abra. Lahat ito available sa app stores natin.
These two are the most popular platforms/wallet na dapat meron ka. You can fund them through various means like 7-11, Tambunting Pawnshops or banks. #DYOR na lang kayo sa ongoing rates and normally magka iba yan pero based on experience mas mahal ang network fee ni CoinsPH vs Abra by 4x!
Do not be confused, ok? CoinsPH and Abra are not used to trade coins but to buy and store coins. Kung matagal kana sa stock trading, kahit papano you will understand this example :
CoinsPH or Abra is like your bank (i.e. BDO, Unionbank, etc.) so magpapasok ka ng money doon then convert mo either BTC or ETH then transfer mo sa Exchange platform (i.e. Binance Online) then pag nasa Binance kana, dito ka pwede mag trade and bumili ng numerous coins.
May mga instructions on how to use Binance but I will just post a youtube na ginawa ng ibang video creators para mas madalian kayo sa #DYOR niyo.
SOCIALIZE, INTERACT AND BE UPDATED
Last but very important-er (Hahaha!) is this. Again, depende sa diskarte yan pero walang lugi if you buy low and sell high unless ang diskarte mo HODL.
Siguro, may mga terms kayo na hindi familiar yet pa ulit-ulit niyong nababasa but don’t worry, I will post an infographic about it na nakita ko. Hehe!
